Terms of Service
Effective October 1, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and StrideCore Systems, LLC ("StrideCore", "we", "us") for your use of StrideCore, including the web app at my.stridecoresystems.com and the StrideCore iPhone app (together, "the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use StrideCore on behalf of a business, such as a barn or training practice, you agree for that business too.
1. Your account
You need an account to use the Service. You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email address, so keep that email account secure. You're responsible for what happens under your account. Give us accurate information, and tell us promptly at support@stridecoresystems.com if you think someone else has used it. You must be at least 13 to use the Service, and if you are under 18, you need a parent's or guardian's permission.
2. Your records
You own the records, documents, photos, notes and messages you put into StrideCore ("your content"). A horse's record belongs to the horse's owner. You give us permission to store, process, copy and display your content only as needed to run the Service for you and the people you share it with, including through our service providers. You're responsible for having the right to upload what you upload, and for the accuracy of what you confirm.
A professional who writes a session note or other entry on a horse's record gives the horse's owner the right to keep and use that entry as part of the record, including after the professional's connection ends.
3. Sharing and connections
Owners choose who can see each horse, and in what role. When you invite someone or accept an invitation, you agree to the sharing that role involves, as described in the app. Owners can end a connection at any time, which stops future access. Professionals are independent of StrideCore. We don't employ, supervise or vouch for them, and any arrangement between an owner and a professional, including payment for their services, is between them.
4. Not veterinary or legal advice
StrideCore organizes records and reminders. It does not give veterinary, medical, legal or regulatory advice. Dates, requirements and answers shown in StrideCore, including competition requirements, reminders and answers from Ask, may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Always check the original document and the rules of the relevant organization or authority, and consult your veterinarian about your horse's health. You remain responsible for your horse's care and for meeting any travel, health or competition requirements.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use the Service to break the law, upload malware, harass anyone, upload content you have no right to share, try to access records or accounts that aren't yours, interfere with or overload the Service, or copy or resell it. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
6. Plans, billing and cancellation
- Plans. StrideCore is a paid subscription. What each plan includes is described on our pricing page.
- Billing. Plans are billed monthly in advance, in US dollars, and renew automatically until you cancel. Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices exclude taxes, which we'll add where required.
- Cancellation. You can cancel any time from Plan & billing in the app. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for and then won't renew.
- Refunds. Payments are non-refundable, and we don't refund partial months, except where the law requires it or where we choose to at our discretion. If you think you've been charged in error, contact us within 30 days.
- Price changes. We'll tell you at least 30 days before a price change affects your plan. It takes effect at your next renewal, and you can cancel before then.
- When a plan ends. If your subscription ends or a payment fails, your access ends when the period you've paid for runs out. We keep your records for one year after that, and they're available again if you resubscribe. Professionals connected to your horses keep their access for 90 days after your access ends, unless you remove them. Before the year is up, we'll email you, and then we delete the records. You can ask us for a copy of your records, or to delete them, at any time.
7. Early and pilot features
Some features are new and still changing, and some may be offered to a limited group first. We may change, limit or end early and pilot features. If you have been given access without charge, we'll tell you before that changes.
8. Our service
StrideCore, its software, design and branding belong to StrideCore Systems, LLC. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the Service under these terms. If you send us feedback, we may use it to improve StrideCore without owing you anything. We work to keep the Service available and your records safe, but we may change or improve features, and the Service may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or reasons beyond our control.
9. Ending your account
You can stop using StrideCore at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or if we stop offering the Service. Where we reasonably can, we'll give you notice and a chance to get a copy of your records first. Sections 2, 4 and 10 to 12 continue after your account ends.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any reminder, reading or answer will be accurate or timely.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, StrideCore will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction. Before filing a claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve it informally.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll tell you in StrideCore or by email before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms.
